Parakaleo Press Website Launch

We are excited to share the official launch of our new Parakaleo Press ministries! Our desire is to encourage and comfort Christians in difficult seasons with the truth and love of Jesus and His Word. Our theme verse is, “You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope” (Psalm 119:114 NLT).

I was five years old when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I am now 14 years old and am the the website builder/maintainer, audio production engineer for both the audiobooks and podcasts, and designer of the fun Parakaleo Press store items. All of the items in the store, including Lisa’s books, will have minimal profit that will be channeled right back into the ministry to come alongside people in hard times. We tried to set up free shipping and did a trial order with the company filling all non-book orders and found out the hard way that it wouldn’t work. We lowered prices as much as possible with this in mind. The intent is not to make money but to encourage!

We are currently half-way through the audio book recording for Lisa’s first book, Meet My Director: Navigating Cancer’s Storm. We hope to have this book available on Amazon’s Audible in early fall. Amazon Kindle and paper book copies are both available now in the Parakaleo Press store.

We are incredibly grateful for the chance to come alongside others through this family ministry in whatever way Jesus leads and equips in the years to come. “…but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25b BSB).
